body as landscape

  • While on a hike at Radnor Lake, I first noticed the similarities between the calming ripples of the water and the dimpling of my thighs. I wondered, why hadn't I been taught to appreciate the latter as much as the former?

Wanting to eliminate the shame we often feel toward the body's perceived imperfections, my photographs intimately explore the human figure, inviting viewers to approach the body with awe and respect, sentiments often reserved for natural wonders.
