this painting is of Oia, Santorini, Greece, a seaside village built into the caldera’s cliffside with elements dating back to the 13th century. many buildings were carved like caves into the volcanic rock.

the Santorini streets scream: we were meant to need each other

we’re wired to need each other, and like any other ecosystem, the quality of our care and reciprocity is integral to our flourishing.
