morning light (a masterclass in slowing down)

All my life, I was a sleep-until-the-last-minute, grab-breakfast-on-the-go kind of person, but the five years we spent in our Nashville home were a masterclass in slowing down. Giving myself space in my schedule. Starting the day with rituals that bring me joy, like watching the growing glow of morning light spill into the kitchen, the smell of coffee beans, and my toes on the antique rug.
