How can I buy an original?

The shop is updated on a continual basis throughout the year, as I release several series of originals and prints throughout. Each one will be well advertised prior to release via my social media accounts and mailing list. 



How will my artwork be shipped?

Originals

All original artwork is wrapped in multiple layers of acid-free packaging, sleeved, padded, and shipped in a well-fitting cardboard box. Orders are fulfilled within 4 days of purchase.

Most artwork will ship via UPS or USPS. Domestic packages usually arrive within 3-4 business days from time of shipment. All shipments include tracking and insurance.



Prints

All prints are carefully packaged in a paper or plastic mailing sleeve and shipped by a third-party fine art company that supplies giclee printing services.

All prints 11x14 and smaller will be shipped in a flat mailer. All prints 16x20 and larger will be shipped in a sturdy mailing tube.


Once your order is shipped, you will receive one mail update with carrier and tracking information. 



International Shipments

We love shipping our art globally! Shipping costs for original art are included in the listed price. For prints, we charge a flat rate of $20 for international shipping. 


International buyers please note that border fees, handling fees, etc. may be charged based on the destination country. Please email me with questions or to get a specific quote!



I want to return an artwork, how can I do that?

Originals

I work super hard to ensure every original artwork is handled with the utmost care. I want you to be over the moon when you receive your purchase! Because of the time and care I put into this process, I do not accept returns on original artworks. All sales are final. 




Prints

I accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. As such, I ask that you open and inspect your print as soon as you receive it. Please also take care to read our product descriptions and check colors on multiple screens to avoid potential color discrepancies. If you decide to return or exchange a print, you will be charged a restocking fee equal to 20% of the print cost.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the quality of your prints?

All reproductions are printed on superior quality archival paper using archival giclee ink. If treated properly, these prints will last a lifetime!

All reproductions are printed to order and usually take 7-10 days to arrive!

Please do not use tape (even washi tape) on the front of your print as it will pull pigment from the paper and damage the print.






Do you offer framing services?

Framing an original or print is an easy way to elevate your piece! While I don’t currently offer framing in-house, I do have a few recommendations. 

First of all, check out your local frame shop! Not only will they have the best selection, but it will also allow you to support a local business. Win win! 

If that’s not an option, you could visit Target, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, or any art supply store, all of which should have a variety of frames for pieces 18x24 and smaller. Or you could shop around at your local thrift store!






I'm a stockist at a local storefront. How can I work with you?

I have sample print packages available for stockists! These allow the stockist to see my work in person and place my work in-store without purchasing a bulk order right off the bat. Please email me at hello@ashleytrabue.com to chat!

I'm a blogger, editor, or stylist. How can I work with you?

It’s my pleasure to work with bloggers, editors, and stylists! I love to give interviews and share my story with new audiences. You are welcome to use images from my website in your article, but please credit me as well as any previously credited photographer. I'm an interior designer. How can I work with you?

I’m always excited to work with interior designers because they curate such beautiful spaces for my artwork to live in! While I do not offer designer discounts on originals, I do offer designer discounts on prints. Who owns the rights to the artwork I've purchased?

I retain all rights to the artwork I make. This includes image rights of all original paintings I sell. As such, I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I make unless the collector has purchased full or partial rights to the artwork (in addition to purchasing the artwork itself). 

Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print. If you’re interested in purchasing full or partial rights, please email me at hello@ashleytrabue.com.

Collectors may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. 

If the artwork is reproduced in a magazine or other print or digital media, please credit me.

When you purchase an original painting, you have the right to display it in your home or business, but you may not resell or reproduce it without my written permission.
